With the deepening of Marx and Engels’ literature and theoretical research, a series of new arguments have been put forward by domestic and foreign academia around the development of the history of Marx’s thought. It has greatly facilitated the theoretical writing and contemporary interpretation of the history of Marx and Engels’ thought, and has also challenged the previous academic views on the history of Marx’s philosophy. It is no exaggeration to say that there are different ways of “returning” to the same Marx. Different scholars, through different methodological “glasses”, will see a different Marx, and will write different stories about the transformation of Marx’s thought. The sparks of collision between heterogeneous views in the study of the history of Marx’s thought have also made the concept of “Marx’s ideological transformation/rupture” even more compelling.
