The Communist Party of China has united and led the Chinese people through more than a century of struggle to successfully establish the Chinese path to modernization, solidifying its distinct cultural stance. Chinese modernization adheres to Marxist guidance, while inheriting and innovating China’s excellent traditional culture, reinforcing cultural confidence of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and actively promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. To uphold the cultural stance of Chinese modernization, it is crucial to safeguard the “soul vein” and continue the “root vein,” consciously resist cultural nihilism and cultural retroism, promote core socialist values, activate cultural productivity, and persistently enhance the influence and communicative power of the cultural form of Chinese modernization. These efforts are essential to continuous advancement of Chinese modernization.
