After nearly three decades of practice, online literature has formed a unique mechanism in character creation, which has achieved remarkably and also faced controversies. Focusing on topics such as online literature personality and roles, in-depth analysis and discussion from the aspects of generation mechanism, creation characteristics, and comparison with traditional literature character creation can deeply experience the characteristics of the reality and virtuality shining together in the contemporary cultural context of online literature character creation, and strive to make an objective and fair evaluation of its gains and losses.
