His achievements are comprehensive and fundamental; his influence has been lasting and profound. It is an undeniable fact that Mao Zedong made extremely serious mistakes in his later years, but "after all, they were made by a great proletarian revolutionary." From the perspective of history, adhering to historical materialism and dialectical thinking to evaluate Mao Zedong's achievements and mistakes scientifically is an invaluable wealth for our Party and people, and is of great significance as reference material for pushing forward the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
