(Abstract)

Li Jikai and Xu Xiang

Lu Yao’s pursuit of life and the spirit of struggle embodied in his works reflect the power of righteous spirit and literary belief, which resonates with numerous readers at home and abroad. The Chinese American writer Zhou Li and Japanese scholar Yasumoto Akira were moved by Lu Yao’s spirit of struggle and devoted great enthusiasm to Lu Yao’s research. Investigating the resonance and acceptance of Lu Yao and his works with the key words of “the strivers” will help to discover the influence of Lu Yao and his works on overseas communication, and to construct a more rational, comprehensive and broad research horizon, and thus further explore the transcendental realm, the significance of literary history and the value of the era of “going to the world” of Lu Yao’s works.
