Comprehensiveness: The Aesthetic Expression of the Construction of Ancient Literary Theory

Liu Xie introduced the concept of “comprehensiveness” into Dragon Carving and Literary Mind for the theoretical interpretation of literary creation and aesthetic experience, and endowed it with literary aesthetic significance. After Liu Xie’s refinement and elucidation, the concept of “comprehensiveness” has become an important concept of his literary theory construction and aesthetic expression.
