The Scholar Prose and Stylistic Awareness

Since the 1990s, the scholar prose has become an important phenomenon in contemporary prose writing. The scholar prose inherits the tradition of Chinese essay study and gets through the context of ancient and modern prose. The creation of scholars is free, straightforward and free from any rules, reflecting a real sense of style. Based on the traditional essay study, under the background of the evolution of the ancient and modern styles, it is helpful to carry out a more detailed and in-depth study to explore the “unity of prose and Daoism”, as well as the unique style and atmosphere.
