Find an overall image of Chinese philosophy in A series of Books: Confucianism and Modern Society

Confucianism still has a significant influence in modern society. Today, “Confucianism and Modern Society” has become a increasingly prominent subject. There is not only traditional Confucianism but also modern Confucianism and post-modern Confucianism; there is not only Chinese Confucianism but also Western Confucianism. A Series of Books: Confucianism and Modern Society reveals an overall image of modern research on Confucianism in China. This series of books includes five books: (1) Chinese Culture: Review and Prospect of Three phases in Confucianism by Shi Yongzhi aims to discuss about the development of traditional Confucianism in modern society; (2) Modern Classics Criticism by Deng Xize reflects a realization of Chinese classical philosophy in modern times; (3) New Confucianism Research in New Century edited by Cui Gang introduces the overall image of Confucianism in new century; (4) Memo of Living-Confucianism by Huang Yushun is related to many basic questions about modern thoughts and philosophy; (5) Life, Benevolence, Realm of Living-Confucianism edited by Cui Fazhan and Du Xia shows their opinions and criticism on Huang Yushun’s Living-Cofucianism. This series of books’ editor-in-chief is Meng Peiyuan and published by Anhui Renmin Press in April, 2012.
