The “Digital Artificial Environment” and Professional Criticism of Online Literature

As a new concept proposed by several scholars of net generation, digital artificial environment has escalated the research of online literature to a new theoretical dimension. The proposal of this concept also provides new impetus and requirements for academic school to construct professional criticism. A number of tasks and methods have been further clarified, such as the necessity of advocating for a “scholar fan” stance and approach, the urgency of mastering digital humanities methods, the importance of establishing academic rankings, and the possibility of encouraging original theories and proactively opening up dialogues with traditional theories.
