Consciousness of Time and Chinese Lyric Tradition

Consciousness of time is a path on which Chinese lyric tradition was developed. The manifestation of its specific strategy lies in: firstly, seeking semantic relevance and poetic relevance of time and poetry to build inherent logic between time theme and lyric genre; secondly, exploring the subject status of poet self in the course of presenting time of poem, highlighting the selfexpression character of Chinese lyric tradition; thirdly, clarifying the ceaseless and continuous of time theme in the history of classical literature, and revealing its historical orientation extending to Chinese lyric tradition.
