The Operation and Adjustment Mechanism of Chinese Paradigm of Literary Theory

The Chinese paradigm of literary theory is a theoretical thinking pattern formed by the researchers of Chinese literary theory during their continuous theoretical construction by means of accumulation, cultivation and learning, model setting, and communication. It has several features that consider the whole: reflect upon objects; comb objects into contexts; coordinate objects through mitigation; generate objects amid changes. As well, it has a set of adjustment mechanism. The paradigmatic mechanisms reflect Chinese characteristics. This type of mechanisms can be summarized as the transcendent mechanism and dual-domain regulatory mechanism of theoretical construction, which is remarkably different from the non-transcendent continuation mechanism in the Western theoretical paradigm.
