A Historical Interpretation of the Theory of Marxist Cultural Criticism and Its Influence in China

From a historical perspective, the theory of Marxist cultural criticism shows the deductive process from “starting from Marx,” to “dialogue with Marx,” and further to “returning to Marx.” The theory of Marxist cultural criticism has a strong sense of theoretical criticism and the spirit of theoretical practice. It provides theoretical resources different from “Soviet Marxism” and “Kantian aesthetics,” as well as positive theoretical inspiration for research of Marxist aesthetics in contemporary China.
