On the Ecological Narration of Ge Fei’s Novels: Centering on Wang Chunfeng (Looking at the Spring Breeze)

Ge Fei’s recent novels have a clear ecological dimension. Particularly, Wang chunfeng embodies his attention to ecological issues. In the novel, there are a yearning for the pleasant ecological homeland, a reflection of rural culture and ecological trauma, and an imagination and pursuit of an ecological ideal. Through the grand yet subtle exploration of the process of rural modernization in China, Ge Fei provides a unique aesthetic experience for the writing of contemporary ecological literature.
