“Narrative Poems” of Girls: A Review of Female-Lead Online Novels in Chinese Literature (2020-2021)

Through 2020 to 2021, the development of female-lead online novels is characterized most prominently by a variety of changes in world settings. First of all, the genres such as science fiction, thriller, and horror have regained wide popularity. Secondly, the field has begun to present social care in realities as it returns to focus on women themselves. Finally, the romance narrative of female-lead online novels also mirrors the realistic desire for love and order of power.
