The construction of the “three systems” of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics is a huge and systemic project. The evaluation of “three systems” construction, as an indispensable and important part of the “three systems,” is its “wind vane” and “catalyst.” In the new efforts to accelerate the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics, the construction of the “three systems” has clearly been effective. Evaluation of “three systems” construction should be able to reflect their overall progress in a comprehensive and objective manner. On the basis of clarifying the dialectical unity of the relationship among discipline systems, academic systems and discourse systems, it is important to explore and consider the meaning and role of the evaluation of the “three systems”; their evaluation content and requirements; and the construction of an evaluation indicator system.
