Network alliance for S&T industrialization established

A network alliance was launched by the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in conjunction with 120 other organizations in Beijing on May 30 to solve issues like the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to meet real social needs and the demands of enterprises. Bai Chunli, president of the CAS, said that the “Internet Plus” new service model, combining online and offline forms, can efficiently connect innovation chain, industrial chain and capital chain, which is an innovative measure to build a comprehensive and efficient industrialization system for scientific and technological achievements. The alliance will mainly focus on the CAS but also will include research findings, projects, technologies and other related service programs from domestic and foreign research institutes as well as colleges and universities that can be transformed in nearly three to five years.
