The Annual Report of the National Social Science Fund of China was released recently by the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences. The annual report consists of a general report and 13 thematic reports covering project review and approval, medium-term management, research evaluation, funds management, periodical management, development of high-level think tanks in China and some other topics. Established in 1991, the fund is one of China’s main means of supporting basic research in all areas of philosophy and social sciences.
